North Walls is part of the island of Hoy. Hoy is an island in Orkney, Scotland. With an area of 143 square kilometres it is the second largest in the archipelago after the Mainland.
North Walls is a well-resourced school. As a Community School, the school and nursery benefits from the on-site swimming pool. All classrooms, including nursery, have a Smart Board and all pupils have access to laptops and audio/visual recording equipment. The school has excellent outdoor spaces including a football pitch, tennis court, adventure playground, school garden and a nature trail.
At North Walls, we promote positive relationships and foster an ethos which encourages all pupils to respect themselves and others. We work in partnership with families, the wider community, specialist services, outside agencies and other establishments to help us ensure that every child is the best they can be.
