The School Day (Early Learning and Childcare)
Nursery sessions are 2 hours 20 minutes each day for pupils, plus a 10 minute period at the drop off and pick up times each session to allow for less congestion in the cloak area and to give parents a chance to speak informally with the nursery team.
Morning Sessions only
9.30 – 11.50pm (Parent Liaison Time 11.50 – 12noon)
Afternoon Sessions only
1.00 – 3.20pm (Parent Liaison Time 3.20 – 3.30pm)

9.30am – 3.20pm (Lunch 12.00 – 1.00pm, Parent Liaison Time 3.20 – 3.30pm)

School Staff begin playground supervision at 9.10 am. Because no supervision is available before this time, children should not arrive at school until 9.10 am.
During intervals janitors, auxiliaries and support for learning assistants supervise the children. In addition, the head teacher, depute and principal teachers are on call to cope with any difficulties which may arise; parents are kept informed if there are any significant issues. There is always access to the building for children who need it.
